Ricketts Plaza Dedication

Many thanks to all who sponsored, planned, organized, and volunteered at the Liberty-2-Liberty 5K last Saturday. There were 206 participants who ran and/or walked the 3.1 miles from LCS to LCHS. The student and faculty leaders of Domus Temperantiae produced a wonderful event with a foam machine, a slip-n-slide, and Chick-Fil-A nuggets at the finish area. The 5K raised over $2,000 for Trinity Scarpella (LCHS Class of 2019) on behalf of Tim Ricketts, the late LCS Business Manager. In addition to the 5K race, the new deck at the high school was dedicated in memory of Mr. Ricketts and has now been named The Ricketts Piazza.

Ricketts Shadowbox
Take a moment to admire the shadowbox at the entrance to the Ricketts Plaza next time you head out to enjoy it.
