Liam O'Malley and Friends

Liberty Common High School junior, Liam O'Malley, chose the back of the elementary campus as the site for his Eagle Scout volunteer service project.

Left Side of ProjectLiam stated, "For my project, I chose to landscape the back entrance to the gym of Liberty Common Elementary. I wanted to do this to give back to my school where I have attended since kindergarten and feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing school and community. I am so grateful for all of the support my family, friends, fellow LCHS students, Mr. Jurgens, and Mr. Churchill gave me with all of the guidance and hard labor of moving rock, laying mulch, and building the retaining wall. A special thanks to Lowes, Hageman Earth Cycle, and Bath Nursery for their generous donations. I still plan to plant bushes on both sides of the sidewalk and can not wait to be able to present the final product."
