Alumni Update 2: Will Denton LCHS '16

Will DentonDear Liberty Family,

I’ve been dwelling on my time at Liberty Common a lot recently. I graduated from CSU this December with a degree in Finance (if you’re interested in pursuing business at CSU or at any higher-ed institution please feel free to shoot me an email and we can talk).

College was awesome. The freedom you get to pursue your academic and non-academic interests is incredible. Making tons of new friends, many of whom are interested in the same things you are makes it such a sweet season of life. Yet, while sitting at my graduation ceremony savoring all my great college memories, and I couldn’t help but think back to sitting in a foldable black chair on the stage at Timberline Church graduating from Liberty in 2016.

Believe me, every season of life has its time and place and high school is over for me and that is a good thing :), but Liberty has a very special place in my heart and it always will. For all the students who take a second to read this, know that I am always open to connect with you and would love to help you excel.

Now to address the point of this “Alumni Update,” I am doing well. I graduated three weeks ago, married the love of my life sixteen days ago, and am now seeking a career in finance! My wife Tabby and I are transitioning into married life right now and are enjoying time with family as we begin transitioning into careers and jobs this year.

Tabby and I send our best to the entire Liberty family, especially all the teachers who made my experience so rewarding!

Warm Regards,
Will and Tabby Denton
